Departamento RV-II

En medio del dinamismo urbano de la Ciudad de México, el Departamento RV-II se concibe como un refugio donde la arquitectura interior responde a una búsqueda de calma, orden y continuidad. El proyecto organiza la vida doméstica en torno a un eje social fluido que integra sala, comedor, cocina y terraza, diluyendo los límites entre interior y exterior mediante grandes ventanales y una cuidadosa entrada de luz natural. Una paleta contenida de madera, mármol, piedra y textiles naturales, junto con plafones estriados e iluminación indirecta, construye una atmósfera de serenidad y profundidad. El mobiliario y la arquitectura se conciben como un  sistema, mientras que las áreas privadas refuerzan un carácter más introspectivo. RV-II plantea una arquitectura silenciosa y atemporal, donde la precisión de los materiales, la luz y las proporciones transforma la experiencia cotidiana de habitar. 

RV-II Apartment

Set within the fast-paced urban fabric of Mexico City, Apartment RV-II was conceived as a retreat defined by calm, clarity, and continuity. The design unfolds around an open social core where the living room, dining area, kitchen, and terrace flow seamlessly together, dissolving the boundary between indoors and out through expansive glazing and carefully filtered natural light. A restrained palette of oak, marble, stone, and natural textiles establishes a warm, understated atmosphere, while a slatted ceiling and integrated indirect lighting introduce rhythm and depth throughout the interior. Furniture and architecture were conceived as a single composition, reinforcing a sense of spatial coherence rather than object-based design. The private areas adopt a quieter, more introspective character, extending the same architectural language with greater intimacy. RV-II is defined by a timeless approach in which materiality, light, and proportion shape an effortless and enduring experience of home.
